Farmington man found dead in truck | News
Friends of a Farmington man found his partially decomposed body Wednesday morning.
"I walked up to the truck and looked in the window - which I shouldn't have an - it was unbelievable," coworker Kirby Padilla said.
Padilla said he saw his friend Bruce Cly inside a pick-up truck parked in front of where they work at Valencia Insulation. He said it’s something he’ll never forget.
“I couldn't tell the color--the difference between his skin color and his hair," Padilla said. "They were the same color."
Farmington detectives said the body looked like it had been in the pick-up for several days. Cly was homeless but worked part-time at the shop, and he would sometimes sleep in the truck.
“He was a good guy," Padilla said. "Yeah, he had a drinking problem but he always thought of other people than himself."
Detectives will not confirm if the body is Cly, but his family and friends said it was him.
The cause of death is unknown, but foul play is not suspected.
“It's unbelievable - it's sad," Padilla said. "You know, I never seen such a thing like that - it's hard - it's just not right."
Cly’s family tells KOB4 his body is at the Office of the Medical Investigator in Albuquerque for an autopsy.
