Bloomfield fire now 30 percent contained | News

We have an overnight update to the fire that burned Monday afternoon near Bloomfield.
Fire crews worked diligently throughout the night on the Bloomfield wildfire and as a result, the fire is now 30% contained.
Some residents were able to return to their homes overnight.
Three homes were damaged in the blaze, which started around 3 p.m. Monday and burned about 80 acres.
One San Juan County Firefighter and two San Juan County deputies were treated for smoke inhalation and later released.
No other injuries have been reported.
County Road 4992 remains closed.
Fire investigators continue to investigate the cause of the blaze.
A complete count on acres lost and property damage is yet to be determined.
When more information as to the fire becomes available it will be released.
Crews are continuing their efforts and are still at the scene.
